In high-society New York, opera star Joyce relies on her secret ghost singer, Maria, to fake her talent. To steal Maria's copyrights, Joyce and her manager push her off a cliff. Surviving the fall, Maria undergoes plastic surgery and returns as Jenifer. With the Opera Star Contest near, she prepares to expose the lip-sync fraud and ruin their empire.
